Wir m\u00fcssen aufh\u00f6ren, Plastik zu verwenden und es wegzuwerfen. 80% aller Kunststoffe in den Ozeanen stammt aus Plastik, das vom Land in das Meer geflogen ist oder von Autobahnen und St\u00e4dten weggesp\u00fclt und via die Fl\u00fcsse weltweit in die Ozeane transportiert wurde. 90% der Abf\u00e4lle in den Ozeanen bestehen aus Plastik. Im Jahr 2006 wurde durch die ENEP ausgerechnet, dass pro Quadratkilometer 18 000 Plastikteilchen im Meer (oder 46.000 Plastikteilchen pro Quadratmeile) treiben.
