Eco-warrior and outrageous multimillionaire David de Rothschild is about to make a voyage around the world, of more than 11.000 nautical miles with his Plastiki, a 20 metre long catamaran, made of about 12000 plastic bottles.
According to him, there are 2 kinds of plastics. On one hand you have the disposable plastic bag and on the other hand you have recyclable plastic. The disposable plastic bags should be banished for ever, due to their huge environmental and medical impact. Recycable plastics should be used and re-used in a better way. For instance using recyclable plastics in stead of polyester for sailing boats.
