The organic Rooibos of Amanprana is extracted from the whole, youngest and finest leaves of the Aspalathus linearis (shrub) from South Africa.
The veins are professionally removed and the leaves are slowly ground to an ultrafine tea powder on granite mills. This is done at only 40g per hour and with retention of quality, taste and nutrients.
The ground leaves of this Rooibos are a powerful food. The level of antioxidants, expressed in ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity), is exceptionally high. 13,200 ORAC units per 100 grams.
Amanprana Rooibos comes from 200 African Clanwilliam farmers in the Cederberg region, 200 km from Cape Town. This Rooibos is expertly selected according to scent, length, colour, taste and health value.
Rooibos is hydrating and naturally sweeter tasting than green or black tea. Our Rooibos is certified organic and ideal for bedtime and for children as it contains no caffeine.
