The best in MCT oil with its 53% C8 and 45% C10 MCT duo power content. Amanprana MCTs are the medium fatty acid chains in organic extra virgin coconut oil. C8 ( caprylic acid) and C10 ( capric acid). C8 and C10 each have their own specific properties.
Day and night cannot do without each other. C8 and C10 cannot do without each other in MCT oil either. They are like Yin and Yang and enhance each other. Amanprana understands this and has developed two types of MCT oil. One of Premium quality that is perfect for cold preparations and one of DeLuxe quality that can be used both hot and cold.
MCT oil is a source of Medium Chain Triglycerides. These fatty acid chains provide quick energy. Medium Chain Triglycerides are hardly found in a normal diet. You add them by using MCT oil.
The body processes MCT oil almost immediately, making it readily available as an energy source. It contains easily digestible fatty acids that can be quickly transported to the liver for conversion into ketones. So it can serve as an energy source.
Please note! Build up the intake of MCT oil slowly. Start with a teaspoon at a time and see how your body responds. Limit your intake to a maximum of 6 teaspoons per day (more does not make sense), unless under therapeutic guidance.
MCT oil has become popular thanks to the ketogenic diet. With a ketogenic diet, your daily intake consists of about 70% fat, 25% protein and 5% carbohydrates. Ketones are the body’s energy supplier if glycogen stores cannot be used.
There are four different types of MCTs: C6, C8, C10, and C12. They are so named because of the number of carbon atoms (6 to 12) it contains. The medium-chain fatty acids C-8 and C-10 complement each other and enhance each other’s properties.
