Ingredients for banana, coconut and almond smoothie
- 1 tablespoon Amanprana coconut fibres
- 1 tablespoon ground almonds
- 350 ml apple-pear juice (preferably home made)
- 3 frozen bananas
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
Preparation of banana, coconut and almond smoothieIf you have ripe bananas, it is always useful to freeze them in their skins. Remove from the freezer with the skin on. Take a serrated knife and cut the banana into 4 – 5 pieces to make it easier to remove the skins. Mix them together with the fruit juice and purée the mixture in a blender or with a hand whisk. Add the coconut fibres and the ground almonds with a bit of vanilla. A heavenly drink!
Tip from Chantal:
Frozen bananas are ideal for using in milk shakes. They contain less calories than if you use ice cream.
